Pokemon Go 1.21.0 for iOS and 0.51.0 for Android updates are in the process of being rolled out and available to download for both iPhone and Android users.
The new update, which comes approximately two weeks after previous update, doesnt exactly bring major changes and instead focuses mainly on bug fixes, under-the-hood tweaks, and other improvements.
According to Niantic, the aforementioned new version of the popular augmented reality game finally brings fix for incorrect vibration notifications issue in nearby feature which Niantic previously acknowledged about, along with minor text fixes for improved rendering. Also tweaked in this release are the day and night modes that have now been changed to correctly and accurately show the current time to you, the Trainer.
The full official changelog of version 1.21.0 for iOS and 0.51.0 for Android is as follows:
-The bug that caused incorrect vibration notifications has been fixed.
-Day and night modes have changed to more accurately reflect the Trainer’s current time of day.
-Minor text fixes.
As mentioned earlier, this new update is relatively minor compared to previous updates from couple of weeks ago which not only brought first of Gen 2 characters to Pokemon Go, but also introduced festive and holiday-themed changes, and loads of other improvements.
While the new 1.21.0 and 0.51.0 version of Pokemon Go is already out on the app stores in some regions, but since the update is still in the process of being rolled out worldwide, it may not be live in all regions just yet.
In case you can’t see it in your local app store yet, just keep checking your region-specific App Store or Google Play Store where it is supposed to show up anytime now.
